Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On March 7, 2019, Aptinyx Inc. (the “Company”) and Torsten Madsen, M.D., Ph.D., its chief medical officer, agreed that Dr. Madsen’s employment with the Company shall terminate by mutual agreement, effective March 15, 2019. Dr. Madsen is entitled to the severance and other separation benefits set forth in his employment agreement with the Company, dated as of June 25, 2018, subject to the entry of a customary separation and release agreement.
